Welcome!
Photography is more than just a job – it's my superpower of stopping time.
My passion for photography began at a young age, with a camera always by my side. Even in the 90's, I was always "that kid with a camera". After graduating high school in 2003, I pursued my dream at Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography. A few years later, I turned that passion into a successful business, LVKimmelPhotography, which thrived for almost 20 years until the world shut down in 2020.
Through my business, I captured life's precious moments at concerts and festivals, weddings, family gatherings, and photo booth events. One of my favorite traditions was the annual free PhotoBOOOth, which ran from 2015-2018. I'd transform my porch into a kid-friendly spooky wonderland on Halloween, and families would flock from all over to capture memories in costume (and enjoy some candy!). This event allowed me to connect with my community, network and promote holiday portrait services.
Although I missed trick-or-treating with my own kids during those years, the joy of giving families the opportunity to create these memories made it all worthwhile. After a brief hiatus from having a business, I'm excited to rebrand and relaunch my photo booth services as a standalone entity, as they were always the most enjoyable part of bringing an event to life and transforming a party into an unforgettable celebration. The new company name pays homage to the beloved PhotoBOOOth and is not a spooky themed booth (although it can be if you want!).
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me cheering on my two incredible kids, supporting their passions, and serving as a board member for the BCHS Music Boosters organization, which supports the performing arts at the high school. In my free time, I unwind with 'Concert Therapy' – live music is my happy place! I also enjoy gaming, traveling and exploring new adventures, and making memories with my family and friends.
